With technology careers in high demand, coding bootcamps have become an increasingly popular method for recent college grads to gain the additional skills needed to jump start a career in technology. Coding bootcamps are short, intense, training programs focused on teaching students the latest, in-demand technical skills.

UMUC’s Career Services and Alumni Relations team hosted a Virtual Recruiter Session on December 13th, 2016. More than 130 UMUC alumni and students attended. The event featured employers BAE Systems, Blue Sky Innovative Solutions, and AT&T. The event was hosted online and gave students and alumni the opportunity to chat with recruiters from each organization and showcase their LinkedIn profile and/or resume.
